Portugal’s first cosmetics brand.

Benamôr is a relic of the roaring 1920s in Portugal. The story begins in the laboratory of a pharmacist who produces creams and perfumes from local ingredients such as lemons, roses, or almonds. The first bestseller, thanks to the last Portuguese queen, is the face cream ”Rosto,” later followed by the skincare ”Alantoine” and the sunscreen ”Bronzaline.” Until the 2000s, they sold on Rua Augusta, then it was a wrap for a while. The brand reinvents itself, expands the old product lines, and still packages them beautifully. Great for treating oneself or as a special souvenir.
