Kefi Greek Bistro

CONTEMPORARY GREEK

Proof: there’s Greek food beyond the meat mountain.

Our kids love Greek food — and were a bit surprised when they didn’t find gyros at Kefi. In the end, it was great, especially because of the insane Loukoumades for dessert. A modern, comparatively light interpretation of classic cuisine. And the decor. It wouldn’t be Greek without a bit of blue on the window frames, but thankfully, they spared us plaster busts of Apollo and oversized photos of Great-Grandma’s hometown. In this case, it wouldn’t fit anyway because the owners are from Ukraine and also run the Heim Cafe in Santos. Open all day from noon, in a nice area below Estrela Park.
