If you really want to spend a day just lounging on the beach while attractive people bring you drinks, welcome to Irmão. Those who reserve in advance with a credit card can get more or less elaborate beach arrangements from 12 pm until whenever. You just need to bring your own towels. You can have the complete menu served to your sunbed, mainly pizzas and burgers at a reasonable level. Before, after, or in between, take a dip in the water, maybe even catch some waves on a surfboard. Surprisingly family-friendly.

Alternatively (because you can’t book the beach and the restaurant on the same day unless you do it under different names), you can pre-order a table for the aforementioned meal and sundowners; after two hours, you’ll be replaced by the next guests. After sunset, there are constantly DJ sets by not always unknown people. Could just as well be in Mykonos or Dubai. Admission varies, but expect around 30 euros.
