Wonderful deceleration in the madness of Bairro Alto. Well, admittedly, the place closes before the disposable cup drinking really kicks off. There are maybe ten small tables here, serving very modern versions of Portuguese cuisine. The chef has a Franco-Portuguese background and has worked in Parisian Michelin-starred kitchens. One could argue whether there’s a bit too much foam and herbal oil, but you can also just leave it. The appetizers are generally meant for sharing, and the wine prices are completely reasonable. Overall, there’s nothing to say about the costs. A nice entry into upscale cuisine if you don’t want to go broke right away and be served things you don’t know what to do with. The menu marks gluten, lactose, and other allergens.
