Anjo Doce

Great treats for grumbling stomachs.

If hunger strikes faster than expected on the Sesimbra-Setúbal route, make a pit stop at the main establishment of Anjo Doce — a bakery that, set in the ambiance of a former wine press, offers a grand array of the famous sweets of our region. The town of Quinta do Anjo is otherwise unremarkable, but it houses the prominently featured vineyard  Venâncio da Costa de Lima (the main street is named after it) as well as the very nice establishment  Horácio Simões. Monk’s liqueur made from an old recipe is available at Casa do Arrabidine.
