Adventure Park

Climbing park for younger and older kids.

Since the climbing park in Sesimbra is reserved for school groups, we sometimes end up in Algés on the western outskirts of Lisbon. There are courses with varying levels of difficulty, and on windy days, it can feel a bit strange up high. However, you get an excellent view at times. Don’t be surprised, the site is part of the Portuguese National Sports Park — it has absolutely everything, though some parts are a bit outdated, especially the stadium, which was once the largest in Portugal. Lack of security has caused serious hooligan problems since day one, yet they still play the cup final here. Oh, and there’s also mini golf.
