Badoca Safari Park
WILDLIFE PARC
A long and expensive day trip for very tired and extremely satisfied kids.
As always, opinions on captive wildlife vary widely here too. After all, in rural Alentejo, there’s significantly more space than in an urban zoo, and so the offerings are a bit different: there’s a Jeep safari in South Africa style, with a hefty surcharge, you can feed lemurs, let falcons fly, and touch giraffes. It’s certainly not Portuguese, but the kids are guaranteed to sleep on the 90-minute return journey. Reserve the VIP experiences a week in advance, with free cancellation up to three days before.
