From baby swings to skate parks, with a large ball court and fitness equipment — it’s a wonderful opportunity to leave the kids while you relax on a bench under shade-giving trees. Particularly popular with young boys is the Lusotitan — a model of a dinosaur that grazed in the area 150 million years ago. The site is named in honor of the initiator, who tragically passed away from cancer during his tenure as mayor. His legacy is an enrichment for Sesimbra, which otherwise lacks playgrounds and green spaces.
