Feira de Carcavelos

With luck, one goes home happy.

A nuisance to Park&Ride folks, the market blocks a popular parking spot at Carcavelos train station every Thursday along the railway to Cascais. It’s a mishmash of genuine overstock from Portuguese brands (still not exactly cheap) and the usual fakes (often overpriced). Plus, all the usual street market fare including fruits, vegetables, meats, and a few food stands. Every first Saturday of the month, there’s an antique market known as ”Feira da Bagageira”.
