Right near the luxury avenue Avenida, but still close to real life.

On Praça da Alegria, the ”Feira da Ladra” used to take place. Nowadays, on weekends around the square, you‘ll find predominantly upscale crafts, while children can play on the grass. You can find fashion and jewelry, paintings and sculptures, as well as all sorts of items made of cork. A great spot for high-quality souvenirs or beautiful mementos. There’s also food available, for example, at ”Brooklyn” or ”Villa's Gourmet”. In the evening, or rather at night, the cocktail bar ”Red Frog” is very popular, while the ”Hot Clube” is still considered the go-to place for live jazz in Lisbon. We especially like the kiosk.
