Once a month in the town center of Benfica.

Every first Saturday of the month, a rather tranquil street market takes place in Benfica, offering local craftsmanship of all kinds. Jewelry and clothing, ham and pottery. Beautiful items at fair prices, certainly a go-to place for lovely souvenirs. The area is also interesting: the old town center of Benfica is very ordinary and very relaxed. A few minutes west is the market hall, right on the square is the cultural center ”Palácio Baldaya” with a changing program and a nice terrace café. Many good dining options in the immediate vicinity.
