Feira de Azeitão

A reason to visit Azeitão on Sundays.

Every first Sunday of the month, there’s a street market in a parking lot — a not-so-small microversion of the Feira do Relógio. There are lawnmowers and vices, the usual fake clothes and DVDs of questionable origin, live geese and grilled chickens. The food is really good: local fruits and vegetables, typical cheese, along with sausages, ham, bread, olive oil, and wine. Of course, there’s also sweets. A normal market hall is close.
