Mercado de Campo de Ourique

FOOD — DRINKS — STYLE

Food court mostly frequented by national tourists.

For those who rightly have no desire to visit the Time Out Market but still want to enjoy good food, the market hall in the charming Campo de Ourique neighborhood is worth a visit. Occasionally, a group of visitors from the cruise terminal may wander here, but generally, it‘s off the beaten path.

Campo de Ourique is not a cheap residential area, as evidenced by the clientele in the market hall, but the atmosphere is quite relaxed. You can order from about a dozen stands offering everything from Portuguese oysters to burgers from Atalho to sushi. You pay, receive a pager, and pick up your food a few minutes later. All around, the normal weekly market buzzes with activity.
