The old mill is a small museum located at a roundabout where you constantly pass by with your car. Originally, it must have been a stable, but in 1917, machines were installed for grinding wheat and corn. Its heyday was during the Estado Novo, when agriculture was cooperatively managed: the entire surrounding area came here to grind, and at times, even coffee was roasted. It’s a nice short visit, suitable even for younger children, as the machines are original. At certain times, you can buy regional products here. Just park briefly when it’s open. Best is the traditional bread out of the oven.
