For the Greater Lisbon area, Carris Metropolitana offers a dense bus network in all directions.

Generally hourly connections between Lisbon and Sesimbra. From here, good connections on the Setúbal Peninsula. The central point for all routes is the Sete-Rios train station or Jardim Zoológico metro station. You can reach it from downtown using the metro. Those coming from the airport change from the red to the blue line at São Sebastião.

Lisbon—Sesimbra

The stop for the yellow intercity bus line 3721 is called ”Sete Rios (Estação) P3)” and is located directly on the main road in front of the station building. Luggage goes into the storage, drivers more or less willingly assist. The journey to Casa Eugenia takes about an hour and costs six euros at the standard rate. It’s a five to ten-minute walk from the bus station.

For Casal Regina, get off at ”Santana-Jardim” station and switch to the red local bus 3213 to ”R Almoinha/R Alves Cardoso”. It’s also a five-minute walk from there. From the stop diagonally opposite, take the 3213 or 3214 further to Sesimbra with connections everywhere.

Traveling to Casal Regina involves a transfer or uphill walk.

Destinations on the Peninsula

In Sesimbra, you'll generally find everything you need for your holiday routine. Therefore, only the blue ring line 3220 plays a role in the village, making it easier for older people to navigate the hilly village. Popular among our guests are lines 3205 to Cabo Espichel, 3210 to the Albufeira Lagoon and Meco, and 4642 via Azeitão to Setúbal. Further connections on the website or in the often theoretically occupied information booth at the bus station.

Along the Costa de Lisboa

Mobi Cascais offers a dense bus network. The most interesting connections are likely lines 1623 to Sintra and 1642 to Cabo da Roca — both part of Lisbon's public transport. There are also buses in Sintra; for tourists, the ring lines 434 and 435 to/from all the beautiful palaces are useful. 435 is inconvenient because it runs only once an hour and standing is not allowed. You can purchase a day pass with the Setúbal train ticket from Lisbon.
